Many clients initially approach Commerzial Treuhand with a request to carry out an audit of their annual financial statements. The audit is the solid basis of all continuing business relationships and we place special importance on it.
In addition to the compulsory aspects of our work, our approach is forward-looking and based on the interests of the customer. Great things usually come of small beginnings, and that’s why every detail is crucial. Future risks and imbalances must be recognised in advance, so that strategies to resolve them can be developed and implemented early on.

Auditing includes both the obligatory audit of annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (Handelsgesetzbuch) for medium and large joint-stock companies and some partnerships, as well as annual financial statements and consolidated financial statements that have to be drawn up and audited in accordance with international accounting regulations (IAS/IFRS). The increasing internationalisation of financial reporting calls for an expert partner to assist in implementing both the organisational and the technical aspects of these regulations. We have already successfully helped some of our clients to change over to the accounting regulations set out in the IAS and IFRS. Our work also includes voluntary or statutory audits, special audits, audits in accordance with the German real-estate agents and developers’ regulation (MaBV), organisational audits, management audits, company valuations and due diligence investigations. |
